It is unprincipled to punish healthy companies that did not cause the financial crisis. JP Morgan is a great citizen in the UK, hiring veterans, training workers, and providing medical coverage. Special bank taxes have cost our shareholders five billion dollars, which ultimately discourages capital formation and drives companies to delist from London.
